My techniques
Massage
I incorporate many styles to help your muscles relax, release tight knots and trigger points, and increase circulation to speed healing. I focus on a gentle form of myofascial release to unstick layers of tissue, encouraging optimal function and glide. It feels like a deep internal stretching, melting, and reshaping.
Neurofascial release
Because you are alive, a massage is not like kneading a lump of clay. Instead, your nervous system sets the tone and tells your muscles how much tension to hold. Nerve impingement and restricted movement triggers your muscles to guard and tighten. Neurofascial techniques ensure that your nerves and other tissues can glide smoothly, creating ease of motion and systemic relaxation.
Craniosacral therapy
Craniosacral therapy works with inherent patterns of movement and flow in the body, addressing restrictions in the bones and throughout the central nervous system, allowing this work to reach and integrate deeply. This technique is very helpful for issues with the head, neck, jaw, pelvis, or sacrum as well as brain injuries, anxiety, or stuck patterns.
Visceral manipulation
Your organs occupy a large amount of space in your body and perform vital functions. They can become stuck or restricted in the same way muscles can, leading to back, neck, or shoulder pain, digestive challenges, and limited mobility. This technique gently releases fascial restrictions throughout the abdomen, providing treatment for your whole body.
